Xtra Dial up settings

From New Zealand Connections

Xtra dial up does not require any special software.

All that is required is a dial up connection to be set up with:

Phone number: 087303030 (No area codes or country codes required, add 1,, if you need to dial up on a PABX)

Username: The first part of your email address, for instance abc123@xtra.co.nz would result in a username of "abc123"

Password: Only you should know that. If you don't know or have forgotten, you'll either need to reset it online or contact Xtra/Telecom to get it reset.

Connection type: PPP

Protocols: TCP/IP - set to automatically assign (regardless of whether you have a static IP or not).

DNS: Should be set to automatically assigned, however you can set them to primary 202.27.158.40 - alternative: 202.27.156.72
